Each gal is welcome to bring up to 6 of her closest loved ones to help her shine like that diamond on her hand!

WHY DO ONE?

Think of this as a chance to get all those gorgeous individual shots in your wedding gown that are all about you! It is a chance to put everything together and see how the process goes compared to doing so on the wedding day. In addition to seeing everything coming together, brides can use this time to practice posing and getting comfortable with their dress in front of the camera. We don't often wear tight, fluffy, big and not to mention long - white gowns on a regular basis; being able to pose, walk and gain confidence in your dress is a huge plus to doing a bridal session.

WHAT CAN IT DO FOR YOU?

A Bridal Session is the perfect opportunity to incorporate some of the things you will have on your wedding day that everyone might not see - things like your perfume, your jewelry, maybe your shoes! During a bridal session, you can take pictures of every single thing that you want in your wedding album. A bride can use this time to get her ideal bridal portraits at any location! Wedding days are typically jam packed where we don't get time to travel to a different location for portraits. You can use your bridal session as a way to decide on a destination other than your venue to have beautiful photograph taken at. It can be any place other than your site. Nowadays, beaches are an attraction for bridal sessions. You can also go to hiking spots, gardens, or historical buildings. Photoshoot near the swimming pool is also a popular choice. On top of everything, a bridal session can be turned in an album, canvas or print for your loved ones!

When should you schedule one?

A bridal portrait session usually takes place a month or two before the wedding day—close enough to the big day that a bride’s gown will be altered and ready, and far enough away that if the gown gets dirty or damaged during the shoot, there will be enough time to clean it. The goal of a bridal portrait session is that the bride looks as similar as possible to how she’ll look on her wedding day, so avoid making any major changes to your look in the time between the shoot and your nuptials. If you're staging your bridal portraits outdoors, you might also wish to pencil in a rain date in case of inclement weather.
