Can we schedule a consultation or phone call before booking?
Absolutely! If you’d feel more comfortable talking through your ideas before booking, we can schedule a quick call to chat about your vision, questions, and anything you’re still figuring out.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY PROPOSAL?
The sooner, the better — especially for weekends and popular dates. If your proposal is coming up quickly, though, still reach out! If I have the availability and we can get everything planned in time, I’m happy to make a little magic happen.
WHAT IF I DON’T KNOW EXACTLY WHERE OR HOW I WANT TO PROPOSE?
That’s completely okay — you don’t need to have it all figured out. We’ll talk through what you’re envisioning and narrow things down based on location, lighting, privacy, timing, and what feels most like the two of you.
CAN YOU HELP ME KEEP THE PROPOSAL A SURPRISE?
Absolutely — that’s part of the fun! We’ll plan where you’ll be, where I’ll be, and how we’ll communicate beforehand. I’ll arrive early and blend into the surroundings so your person has no reason to suspect a thing.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THEY SAY YES?
First, you celebrate! Hug, kiss, laugh, cry, admire the ring — whatever comes naturally. I’ll keep photographing those first few moments before we transition into your just-engaged portraits. There’s no need to immediately look for me or the camera.
WHAT IF THE WEATHER DOESN’T COOPERATE?
We’ll keep an eye on the forecast as your date gets closer. If weather becomes a concern, we’ll talk through the best option together — whether that means adjusting the timing, using a backup location, or embracing a little weather when it’s safe to do so.

Before the big day, make sure the ring is secure, the box is easy to reach, and — if you can — give that ring a quick clean. Those close-up shots deserve a little sparkle.

Because a ring-box-shaped surprise is still a surprise.
Think about where you'll keep the ring before you head out. A bulky box in a fitted pocket can be a pretty obvious clue. We can talk through the easiest way to keep it hidden and accessible.
